A mock-up poster I made in the style of the RideBMX ones they give out for free in the magazines. I hope no one in the magazine sees this, they'd slap me for making such an abomination and putting the name of their mag on it :p
- Camera: Canon 350D
- Lens: Tamron 28-75mm 2.8
- Aperture: 3.5
- Shutter: 1/200th
- ISO: 100

I've had it since January, and I've been thrilled with it so far. I'd say the image quality is equal to the 50mm 1.8 prime, and it's a zoom!
It seems to be very well constructed also, and the distance guides on the focus ring make it much simpler to do night photography with it. Given the choice, I would definitely buy another one, unless my budget was unlimited, in which case I'd go for the 24-70L for the possibility of slightly better image quality, and better construction, USM and weather sealing (if budget was no issue, you can bet I'd have a 1DMk2N too).
Hope this helps.
This makes a great poster. Good job. No don't get caught! Yikes :)
