Flowing water. Used a Tungsten WB in processing, and quite a bit of other stuff with the colors. It's not even reasonably accurate, but it's colorful. I should have colored the rocks yellowish for complimentary colors, but I don't feel like it now.

A house up in the hills across the highway, near sunset. I got a film camera and was shooting with BW film in it and was dissapointed I didn't have Velvia or something to capture the colors, but luckily I also had my digital camera, and took some shots with both.

A park in Durango, CO. We went there for a picnic the other day, this is from then. Stopped down to get the starburst around the highlight (the sun).

A photo I took last year with my dad's old film camera, scanned and edited it today. It's not very good, but I figured since I took the time to edit it I might as well post it. I don't have the EXIF data because it doesn't exist.

A toad in the grass.

Kids on the climbing wall. I got tired of the plain stop motion, kid up on the wall hanging onto fake rocks shots and braced the camera against poles on the ground to do a long exposure.

  • Camera: Canon 350D
  • Lens: Canon 18-55mm
  • Aperture: 22
  • Shutter: .8 sec

More day camp. Archery this time. I haven't felt the need to do a photo every day lately, so it's temporarily a 'photo-a-couple-times-a-week'. Thanks to everyone who leaves comments, I try but I've been slacking lately.

  • Lens: Tamron 28-75mm 2.8
  • Aperture: 4.0
  • Shutter: 1/3200

My mom is helping with a cub scout day camp this week, today I went and practiced my photojournalism type shots. I learned that sunny days suck for shooting, I almost never shoot mid-day and when I do it's overcast. I might be sticking to evaluative metering for days like that, because my standard spot-meter method that usually works even for JPEG's didn't cut it.

  • Lens: Tamron 28-75mm 2.8
  • Aperture: 2.8
  • Shutter: 1/4000th

A photo I took a long time ago in Colorado on a scout trip. It's outside of Durango. Processed in photoshop to exaggerate the color of the sky and some other stuff.

  • Camera: Canon A70
  • Aperture: 3.5
  • Shutter: 1/1000th
  • ISO: 64

The pool at the apartment complex where my sister lives. Haven't gone shooting all week, I should later today. Maybe I'll do two more photos to make up for the days I slacked off.

Cliffs, on a cloudy night. This spot is about 15 minutes from here, my dad and I have gone there to get some sandstone rocks for the yard a few times. It's next to a well site, and there's cliffs and a lot of boulders on the side of a hill. Cool place.
